The services and deliverables\r \r Construction, Design, and Management and Health & Safety Services\r \r Homes England takes health and safety very seriously and expects all Suppliers to do the same. All Suppliers must adhere to the Health and Safety obligations in the Framework Contract and the following Homes England policies where applicable: \r \r • Homes England Safety, Health and Environment Policy \r • Homes England Asbestos Policy \r • Homes England CDM Policy \r \r Copies of these policies are provided in Appendix A. \r \r The following responsibilities for the CDM A role are identified:\r \r • Act as the single point of contact for H&S advice throughout the project, including all sub-phases as identified in the table above.\r • Advise on the suitability of those appointed or being considered for appointment to the project team e.g. designers (including temporary works designers), Principal Designers and contractors including Principal Contractors, to ensure that they have knowledge, resources and organisational capability to carry out the work (Reg 8(3)). \r \r (This includes checking SSIP registration and compliance with PAS 91 or Homes England internal H&S questionnaire which forms part of the ITT. Note that suitability assessments will not extend to designers and Principal Designers already appointed to Homes England's DaRTS Framework.
