As part of its' Better Moorings Project (BMP), Bath & North East Somerset council (B&NES) seek the provision of specialist recovery services to remove 5 (five) sunken boats from the central waterway (Pulteney stretch) in Bath and invites you to provide a quote. This follows B&NES showing due diligence through completion of relevant land searches, consultations with Legal Services, and engagement with the respective boat owners. As of 29th August 2024 B&NES considers all sunken boats 'abandoned' and seeks removal of the vessels from the waterway in one continuous activity.
